Last blog: the story ends...

Yesterday I said goodbye to my life in Hull and in the train to the airport i felt… complete. It might be a little bit boring to say but I learned so many things in the UK, a lot about myself and I learned also a lot from others, but the most beautiful thing I discovered is that Cranbrook Avenue really felt as home for me. And I think that if Hull could be the city where I feel at home, many more places on earth could feel like home as well. The only thing that you need is people around you to whom you feel connected. Someone told me: ‘It is the people who make your stay abroad so special’ and I totally agree.

But now it is time to go back home, to the same places that where my home before I left the Netherlands. Hopefully the stories I bring home will inspire people to discover even more from the world than they already did but also to find happiness in both small and big things in life. Because I did.
